This client started with a completely unfinished basement. They were already working with a contractor, but needed an interior designer's touch to ensure the layout of the space was functional. Spark Interiors also helped create key design elements, including bar seating, so the client's vision could come to life. We helped them transform a cold, dark basement into an inviting place for gathering with friends and family.
Spark Interiors worked closely with their contractor to design a floor plan that made the most sense for this space. We selected this corner bar because it offers significant counter space as well as an abundance of storage to tuck away all the necessities for entertaining guests. We included the overhead wine rack and glass storage to create an upscale design in this modern area.
The natural stain on the cabinets compliment the darker accents in the back splash and chairs to give this kitchenette a sleek, finished look. The light gray tile fits seamlessly with the rest of the basement, while also providing a clean separation between “kitchen” and “living” space, making the entire area feel spacious and welcoming. The overhead lighting and polished accent fixtures complete the look, bathing the area with a soft light.
Spark Interiors loved designing this basement remodel and making our client's home the envy of everyone in Parker, Colorado.
